Milla La María is designed for a deep connection with nature. Our peaceful garden is filled with lush plants and local wildlife; it is very common to see monkeys and iguanas from your terrace. We prioritize privacy so you can enjoy slow mornings, quiet hammock time, and the serene sounds of the jungle.

What wellness amenities do you provide?

We offer a "wellness-first" experience. You will find yoga mats in the villa for your morning practice. We can also coordinate professional massage services or a private chef to prepare healthy, local meals at the villa.

Are there good spots for sunsets and beach walks?

Absolutely. We are just steps from the sand, making it easy to enjoy daily beach walks and world-class sunsets. We recommend the beachfront at Rocamar for the best sunset atmosphere.

The Villa Experience & Comforts

What are the sleeping arrangements?

The villa features two bedrooms designed for rest:

• Master Bedroom: One comfortable King-size bed and one single bed.
• Secondary Bedroom: One comfortable King-size bed and a bunk bed with two singles.
  All beds are fitted with high-quality linens, and we provide plush beach towels for your trips to the ocean.

What is the bathroom like?

Our bathrooms offer a unique indoor-outdoor feel with tropical plants and rain showers. We provide natural organic bathroom products (soap, shampoo, and conditioner) to keep your experience eco-friendly. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach or pool.

What tech and entertainment are included?

• Ultra-Reliable High-Speed Wi-Fi: Designed for digital nomads, we offer 500 Mbps fiber optic internet and a dedicated work station. To ensure you never miss a meeting, we feature a Dual-ISP setup with a TP-Link Omada failover system. This means if one internet provider goes down, the system automatically switches to the backup provider in seconds, ensuring near-constant uptime and peace of mind.

• Fun: A selection of table games for family nights.

Can we cook at the villa?

Yes. You have a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor barbecue (BBQ). For a special experience, we provide a floating tray for the saltwater pool (perfect for a pool breakfast) and a picnic basket for your beach excursions.

Location & Neighborhood

How close are the surf spots and tide pools?

We are in a prime "North Santa Teresa" location. You are a 3 short walk (100m) from the best surf spots in the area. If you walk along the shore, you’ll find the famous natural tide pools, which are crystal clear and perfect for swimming at low tide.

Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

Convenience is key! There is a market across the street for all your groceries. You are also within walking distance of the best local restaurants in town.

What "Active Experiences" can you help coordinate?

We act as your local concierge to help you book:

• Surfing: Lessons with a trusted teacher who brings boards to the villa.
• Horseback Riding: Tours along the beach at sunset.
• Explore: ATV or bicycle rentals to venture around the peninsula.

Do you offer additional guest services?

Yes, we can arrange for:

• Private Chef: For specialized in-villa dining.
• Nanny Services: Professional childcare so you can enjoy a night out.
• Laundry: Professional laundry service (wash/dry/fold) for $20 per load.

Logistics & Arrival

How do we get there and check in?

• Domestic Flight: The fastest way is to take a 25-minute flight from San Jose (SJO) to Cobano via Sansa or Green Airways. We can help coordinate a taxi from the airport.
• Driving: Book your ferry from Puntarenas via QuickPayCR.
• Check-in: 3:00 PM.  Google Maps Location.
• Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Can we check in early?

If the calendar permits, we love to accommodate early arrivals. If the villa is being prepared, we recommend grabbing breakfast at a nearby beachfront cafe while you wait.

What about a rental car?

We can put you in contact with the local branch manager at Budget Rent A Car. Mention you are staying at Milla La María, and she can coordinate delivery to the Cobano airport or the villa.
